Terms of Use

Effective 8 October 2026

These terms cover the Ding app and service. Ding is a project by vāyumaṇḍala; “Ding,” “we” and “us” mean the operator of this service. Contact us at [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

1. Using Ding

Ding sends you notifications about AT Protocol activity that you choose. You sign in with your own AT Protocol account and stay responsible for it. By using Ding you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.

2. Beta service

Ding is in beta. Features may change, pause or stop, and notifications can be delayed, missed or duplicated. Do not rely on Ding for emergency, medical, safety-critical or other time-critical information.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Ding to harass people, monitor someone in a way that violates their rights or the law, overload or interfere with the service, or access accounts or data you are not allowed to. We may limit or end access to protect people or the service.

4. Network content and connected apps

Notifications show content created by other people and services on the AT Protocol network. Ding does not endorse or control that content. Alerts from connected apps come from those apps under Ding’s publishing rules; you can turn them off or disconnect an app at any time.

5. Ending use

You can sign out or disconnect your account in the app at any time; disconnecting deletes your Ding data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. No warranty and liability

Ding is provided as is, without warranties to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed, late or incorrect notifications. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and tell you in the app about material changes. Continuing to use Ding after a change means you accept the updated terms.
